After seeing the lantern festival unlit in Chiswick House gardens last year I knew that if I ever had the opportunity to see them lit in the dark I would have to take it. And then as if by fate they appeared in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and it was a sign that I had to go.
So in the spirit of Christmas it became a family affair and I think a lovely thing to do around this time of year that is a bit different to the usual Santa outings.
The lantern trail is amazing! The lanterns are beautiful but the talent and work to put the displays together is incredible!
